Sample Schedule (First 2 Weeks)
Nursery Preparation & Seed Sowing
Prepare plug trays or raised beds with fine germination medium (coco peat or sand:soil 1:1). Sow 1 seed per plug, 1 cm deep. Varieties: California Wonder (open-pollinated) or Yolo Wonder F1. Germination in 7–10 days.
Germination Check
Germination should be >80%. Move to full light after cotyledons open. Water from below to prevent damping-off disease.
Seedling Management
Apply dilute NPK foliar (1 g/litre) twice per week. Thin to single seedling per plug. Seedlings should have 2 true leaves by Day 14.
